My Weekend
Well my weekend was crazy, I went to the rec and played basketball with my homies and we walked from Serra Mesa rec to Kearney High School and we balled over there. Then we fought this one guy because he was out of line but after that we started back being cool. Then we went to the mall and walked around for like 4 hours looking at girls and eating talking bout our future and what we wanted to accomplish this year or next year.Sunday I went to my brother Tre's great grandpa's birthday he turned 80 yesterday. The food was great everybody was talking and cathcing up and having fun the kids were playing and having a good time.Nobody was arguing everyhting seemed chilled and mellow after that they took me home and I logged on to facebook and hooked my camera up and webcamed some friends.Played basketball later that day until like 6:30 p.m. and came in and ate.I took a shower got ready for school called my wife and went to sleep.I Had A Bomb Weekend.

Thurgood Marshall
Thurgood Marshall (July 2, 1908 – January 24, 1993) was an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, serving from October 1967 until October 1991. Marshall was the Court's 96th justice and its first African-American justice.
Before becoming a judge, Marshall was a lawyer who was best remembered for his high success rate in arguing before the Supreme Court and for the victory in Brown v. Board of Education. He argued more cases before the United States Supreme Court than anyone else in history. He served on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit after being appointed by President John F. Kennedy and then served as the Solicitor General after being appointed by President Lyndon Johnson in 1965. President Johnson nominated him to the United States Supreme Court in 1967.

Mae Carol Jemison (born October 17, 1956) is an American physician and NASA astronaut. She became the first black woman to travel in space when she went into orbit aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour on September 12, 1992. After her medical education and a brief general practice, Jemison served in the Peace Corps from 1985 to 1987. She resigned from NASA in 1993 to form a company researching the application of technology to daily life.To answer your question about her not being mentioned more i really don't know because I think that she should be mentioned more especially being the first BLACK WOMAN to travel space now that's a big role for us African-Americans especially African-American woman.
